6 TIPS FOR YOU

Ayurveda tells us that those who experience dryness may respond to stress with nervousness, anxiety and maybe insomnia. The last on is defo my cup of tea.

These are Aveda tips which have helped me a lot:


Maintain a regular sleep schedule. Go bed at 9.30pm and rise at 5 am.

Practice Abhyanga (self massage) every morning before a warm shower or bath.

Shampure composition oil can help you begin your day with a calming aroma.

Take a few moments for meditation when you feel stressed. Visit misterchakra.com for meditation suggestions.

Practice pranayama (mindful breathing) throughout your day. "Wellness Ritual" then "Breath" for Alternate Nostril Breathing - to help reduce anxiety and nervousness.

Choose foods with warm spices, including black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, garlic, ginger, mustard, horseradish and turmeric.

And then lastly Take a warm bath before bed to help calm any nervous energy.
