Ocean Mist

The tough part of keeping my chemically treated hair treated , is ensuring that the color stays glossy and the texture of my hair smooth.

I personally have dry hair due to the bleach, which can sometimes be frustrating when you are craving glossy, goddess esque locks but it can also be great for maintaining your preferred blow-dry.

I received few products as gift from Sacha Juan team and I wanted to put them to test. So by now writing this review I have been testing them out 3 months or so.

The products came in set of three: shampoo, conditioner and mist.

THE PRODUCT

THE REVIEW

I often leave my hair in it’s natural state and avoid hitting it with unnecessary heat and/or products on an everyday basis, but if Im creating content then I’ll go for my trademark loose waves with lots of volume. I do love a good Lion hair style. I am fortunate that I only have to wash my more dry hair, every 4-5 days or so.

When I have a beach day, I do carry spf spray and leave-in conditioner for my hair as I don't want to achieve the dry fluffy hair result. And after a swim in ocean I do rinse my hair under the shower. But here's what I think about this range.

This range is wonderful if you have virgin hair or in really good condition hair. For me as I do have dry scalp and damaged dehydrated hair, its not enough for me. Unfortunately after shampooing and rinsing it out from my hair, I had squeaky texture which I absolutely avoid. As it makes me feel like my hair will snap off. But again if its the texture you going for its fine. As it is really nice shampoo. But for me too drying.

The Conditioner helped me to get rid of that squeaky feeling. It smoothed my hair and felt lovely. I kept it longer to achieve moisturised result. It helped to detangle and smooth my hair.

After rough-dry my hair had a lot of volume but didn't feel nourished as I hoped for. While styling my hair I tested out the Ocean mist and it did create more texture. But for me more texture equals crispy dry hair.

Over all bonus points that the range is free from parabens, scent is wonderful and products look really aesthetically pleasing in bathroom. My verdict is that this range isn't for my hair type. I would recommend it as I mentioned earlier for normal hair type and if you want a lot of volume. As my scalp was over dehydrated and oil production was full on to balance the dryness. I needed to wash my hair again after two days.

Hair products are Try & Error for me as for some they will work wonders and for other, we need something extra for the kick.
