HOW TO TAKE CARE TO LAST LONGER

If you follow these introductions to keep your set looking great for as long as possible. The typical lifespan of Luxy Hair Extensions is three months to a year, depending on how often they are worn, washed and how well they are taken care of.

Always brush your Luxy Hair gently, from bottom to top, with a soft bristle brush, before and after use

Before washing, gently remove any tangles.If Hair is excessively tangled , apply a conditioner and let absorb overnight to loosen the tangles.

Wash in lukewarm water, then apply a small amount of shampoo. Rinse out the shampoo and apply a conditioner. Rinse throughly and allow to air dry.

DO I NEED TO WASH MY EXTENSIONS WHEN I RECIVE THEM & HOW OFTEN DO THEY NEED TO BE WASHED?

The extensions come to you ready-to-wear and do not need to be washed prior to wearing them. Wash your Luxies after 15-20 wears.

CAN I DYE OR BLEACH MY LUXIES?

Luxy Hair extensions are made of 100% rely human hair, they can be colored a darker shade by professional hair colonist. Do not bleach your Luxies, as bleaching is a harmful process that can and likely will after the quality of your set. If you do decide to get them dyed, we recommend that you get the hair colourist to test a one clip weft prior to dying the full set, to ensure that you're satisfied with the results.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO STORE & CARE FOR MY LUXIES?

Luxies should be stored away when completely dry. The pink Luxy Hair box your extensions arrive in is recyclable and is also specifically designed for reuse as a storage container . Alternatively, you can store your set in an airtight container like a shoe box, acrylic box or airtight zipper bag. Store away from direct sunlight, preferably in dark place like a closet shelf, cabinet or a dresser drawer.

WHAT PRODUCTS CAN BE USED ON MY EXTENSIONS?

Luxies recommend to use hight quality, sulphate-free, alcohol-free products specifically formulated for dry and damaged hair, as they will help keep the hair strands healthy and nourished. Heat protectant sparays, serums & any other leave-in conditioners or treatments are also highly beneficial and will prolong the lifespan of your luxies.

CAN I SWIM WITH MY LUXY HAIR EXTENSIONS?

You can wear your Luxies to the beach or by the pool, however, its not recommended getting in the water while wearing them, unless you have your hair up and the extensions will not get wet. Making your hair wet while wearing your Luxies will be bad for your hair roots, bc hair gets really heavy, and can rip off your hair.
