Great skin, lashes and lips - this is what autumn make-up is all about, rather than the dressier, more effortful looks of winter, or the low-maintenance bareness of summer. I confess Im a glow addict: anything that claims to add luminosity and radiance to my complexion has my immediate interest , and ELEMIS Pro-Radiance Illuminating Balm, most certainly delivers on the brief.
I have been using this rich, ungreasy hybrid of moisturiser and make-up base for a couple of months, and there's still nothing better only skin. Powerful Vitamin complex that protects against moisture loss, whilst Purple Orchid, Noni and Acai help to defend against the early signs of skin ageing. Can be worn under foundation for smooth, flawless coverage, or simply alone as a day cream-with-benefits. I adore it and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone but the oily-skinned.
It feels as though we've been waiting forever for Makeup For Ever Ultra HD Self-setting concealer, but I can confirm the patience has been rewarded . Having to set and touch up your concealer is so 2018. this cover-up doesn't need to be set with powder, thanks to the unique amino-acid coated pigments that immediately conform to your skin, staying put for up to 12 hours without caking or creasing. The wide range of 22 shades is an added bonus.
Lash primers aren't a new idea, but Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effect Faux Cils Flash Primer, is the first one to find a permanent place in my makeup bag. This pale pink gel strokes on before your usual mascara as my favourite mascara is from the same family aka Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils. This lush mascara combines the captivating volume and false lash effect of Faux Cils Luxurious Mascara with deepest black colour ever. And can be used on lower lashes too, for a wide-eyed effect. I'm hopelessly addicted.
The last couple of years have been all about the sharp lines and matte finish of liquid lipstick , so Im delighted to see another look breaking through. Dior Lip Glow To The Max is the same beloved Lip Glow, now with a yummy new look and a touch more pigment. In this new formula, the sheer, tinted balm is spiked with pigment — those are the candy-colored swirls you see in the bullet — to both hydrate your lips and leave them with a bit more of a tint than the original formula does. Take your pick from seven different shades, five with a dewy finish and two that leave behind a holographic sheen.
So these are the beauty products which are exciting me as Starting off year 2019. Some Old & Some New. Take care and see ya again really soon.
