The Dior "Caro" BAG for 2021

Im not a huge bag person but I do love a good companion when Im out-about. So I decided to scroll latest trends and online shops to find out, if there's anything new which gonna caught my eye. So basically looking for the Best New Bag" to get.

As the passed Fashion month and basically all last year were really Non-Fashion-Week vibe I decided to take matters into my own hands and entertain myself by scrolling through instagram, as we all. Countless online visits to Selfridges, Harrods,Vogue, Net-a-Porter sites and thats what I found.

This one is kinda special as the name of the bag carries my nickname Caro.

And many of you have seen posts about it in Instagram featured by our beloved Influencers. I do love it as well. Fistly because its not a massive bag. As being petite woman I do love smaller bags as I don't want to get lost in picture, If you know what I mean.

THE SAVOIR-FAIRE BEHIND THE DIOR CARO BAG

After its pieces are meticulously cut from calf leather, the essential quilting stage alone requires 18,700 stitches to reproduce the subtle geometric weave of cannage. A delicate “Christian Dior” gold seal is affixed before the bag, which is mounted inside-out, is at last turned right-side out. Next, metal accessories adorned with the precious “CD” signature are affixed, from the chain links to the clasp.

Available in two sizes, in timeless shades such as black, grey, beige and ivory, this essential bag also comes in enchanting hues, borrowing intensity from red and softness from sky blue, mint green and compass rose.

My favourite from this collection is for sure Small Dior Caro bag in Beige Soft Cannage Calfskin.

The bag features a flap with the twist 'CD' clasp, inspired by the seal of a Christian Dior perfume bottle which is brilliant. And my favourite part that it´s in antique gold-finish metal. The removable signature 'CD' chain link shoulder strap can be replaced with a wide embroidered strap. This gives more variety to style your outfit from street style to evening date-night look.
